From Fancy to Frugal - Here's How We Do It

Whether you need to serve a lavish dinner to hundreds of guests, cater a business meeting or throw a dinner party without the hassle of cooking, we'll assure you the finest in fresh foods and superior service.

At our house, your house, civic center, corporate setting, speedway, depot, church, synagogue, picnic grounds or any site of your choosing, we'll go out of our way to make your event special.

Advance Arrangements

  • Menu selections, room requirements and other arrangements shall be finalized with Maple House with sufficient time to make adequate arrangements prior to the date of the event to ensure handling of all details.

  • Service and sale of alcoholic beverages shall be by Maple House only - no personal beverages are allowed in the restaurant.

  • Except for wedding cakes, all food items shall be supplied by Maple House. In order to coordinate arrival and setup times, we require the name and phone number of your pastry chef. Maple House will be happy to provide recommendations for local pastry chefs if needed.

  • Menu prices are subject to change at any time, but are guaranteed on signed contracts.

Guarantee Policy

  • Maple House requires a guarantee of the number of people that will be attending the function 1 week (seven days) prior to the date of the event.

  • Once a function is contracted, fees are based on the guaranteed number of guests as discussed with the contact person.

  • If the actual guest count increases from the original guaranteed count, charges shall be assessed for the difference.

  • In any event, charges shall be based on the guaranteed count or the actual count, whichever is greater.

Deposits, Billing & Cancellations

  • A non-refundable deposit shall be required to secure the date(s) and time(s) for your special event. Up to one half of the cost estimate or $100 in-house fee (whichever is greater) is due when the event is contracted.

  • All food and beverage pricing is subject to North Carolina taxes and up to a 20% service charge.

  • A deposit for an open bar shall be required, whether offered for the full length or partial time of the function.

  • Any additional incidental costs shall be reconciled upon completion of the event. The balance is due at completion.

Liability

  • Maple House reserves the right to inspect and control all private functions held at the restaurant. Liability for damage to the premises shall be charged accordingly.

  • Maple House cannot assume responsibility for the loss of or damage to personal property and/or equipment brought onto the premises.

  • Maple House, as a licensee, is responsible for the sale and service of all alcoholic beverages consumed on the premises in accordance with North Carolina State Liquor Regulations. Therefore, Maple House reserves the right to refuse the sale and/or service of alcoholic beverages to anyone attending the event
